CORALEE & JASON | WEDDING

This past Friday I got to shoot my last wedding of October. I was super thrilled to shoot this wedding because it was my first “Reveal” shoot. Coralee & Jason agreed to see each other beforehand to take the formals before the ceremony. We ended up with some amazing “Reveal” shots as well as some fabulous formals because we weren’t hurried for time or stressed about leaving guests to wait for us for a few hours.

Thank you Coralee & Jason for being the amazingly generous, laid back, and beautiful couple that you are.

Moments after the “Reveal”…

I love Coralee’s eyes here… Those eyes are the kind that tell beautiful stories.

This is one of Coralee’s grandmothers. I just loved how close and open their entire families were at the ceremony. You can tell there was a lot of love in that room.

And of course, a necessary ingredient for the night. I didn’t stay for the reception…but I have a feeling it was something to write home about.

480 miles from home | PERSONAL

I just got back from a short stay in Nelson, B.C. If you haven’t been there yet, please go. I can not believe how lucky some people are to wake up in such a place. I spent two amazing days with my best friend, who is about to embark on yet another epic journey…and before she does, I wanted to visit and say good-bye. Here are some photos from our trip.

An abandoned house just outside of Cranbrook.

This is me. Mike has decided to start taking photos of me as evidence of my existence.

Just before getting onto the Crawford Bay ferry. It’s about a 30 minute ferry ride to Balfour on Kootenay Lake.

I couldn’t resist posting this one. This is Ode, my best friend and tour guide extraordinaire.

The trip has come to an end quickly. But I will be back one day.

New Albums | Odds & Ends

I just got this fabulous album in the mail on Friday…All I have to say is WOW! I can’t wait start using them for more 2010 weddings! This particular album is the 6×6 in Dynasty Red, but most wedding albums will be 11×11 or 11×13 and the option to come with an image wrap cover or a linen.  I hope you like what you see!

I will be getting my 2010 sample albums soon, so be sure to ask to see the new albums if you’re interested.

KARIN & CLAUDE | WEDDING

Alas, I just got back from one of the best cities in the world: Montreal. I was there to document Karen & Claude’s October wedding. Here are some of my favorite shots from my trip & their beautiful wedding day.

Here’s my handsome assistant enjoying a beautifully lit alley way.

I don’t like to brag, but the french KNOW how to party. We pretty much wrote the book on partying!

Fun. Unconditional. Love

Thanks to everyone who can out and supported my sister’s (yes, Karen is my beautiful sister) & Claude’s wedding. It was a wedding I will never forget…filled with memories of seeing old friends, dancing until late, & finally realizing who I am: A sister who is loved.

Take Care Montreal. A Bientot.
