A funny thing happened… I started an ice cream truck business.

I hope that title got your attention…

Yes. Its new… it’s weird…and it’s awesome! It’s Peppermint Andy’s Ice Cream Wagon!

Mike and I were hanging out and talking about things we really enjoyed from 2011 while watching Storage Wars, way back in February…and my Seattle wedding popped up in the conversation. I remember how much I loved the idea of having the ice cream truck at the wedding. It was fresh, cute, and very tasty. Overall, one of my favorite experiences of 2011! So…. long story short. I googled, and googled, and gooooooooogled about ice cream trucks. 4 weeks later. I am the owner of a vintage GMC Grumman truck! It’s not quite ice cream friendly yet… but soon enough. It needs paint, a freezer, a serving window, and our super cute logo (designed by Karin Ross, the bride of my Seattle wedding) placed on it. Once it is setup, I will be scooping out delicious local and premium handmade ice cream. We will 8-10 flavors on rotation (including MAPLE BACON & GUINNESS STOUT) and 2-3 home made (by me!) seasonal fruit popsicles for the non-dairy types!

The reason why I’m bringing this up on my wedding blog is because I think food trucks and weddings are the best pairings. It’s a great way to keep your guests happy for those 2 hours we normally take for photos. Not to mention a great photo opportunity too!!!!!

If you’d like to know more about our catering services, just drop me a line and I’ll send over a detailed PDF!

Just keep in mind… I wont have any truck photos yet, as we are in the middle of getting it transformed. Just trust me. It’s going to be cute!

I just want you guys to know that I’m super proud of my photography business, but alas, I feel like this new venture is a really big part of me. It’s great to see how my photography business has helped me grow as an entrepreneur.

ps. I’m still shooting weddings!
