I just wrapped up my last wedding of 2009. I had never considered the challenges of shooting a winter wedding before this December since we usually have mild and very dry winters….Needless to say, the mounds of snow & the crazy deep freeze came just in time to make me sweat about this wedding for most of December. I was nervous! Erin & Darren were so cool with my bazillion back up plans for every weather situation, but in the end…everything turned out perfect. We shot in -3 degree weather, which was considered balmy for the Manitobans in the bridal party. I really had a blast shooting this wedding: I met some great people, learned some new things from my second shooter Kai (Kai Smyth Photography), and learned to love winter all over again. Erin & Darren, thank you for your hospitality and for letting me take some of my favorite shots of 2009. Enjoy!

By the way, the beautiful floral arrangements were done by the folks at STEMS.
